Summer camp at GLPS

Introduction

At 2014, I attended Summer GLPS Camp becuase my parents wanted me to study debating. It was my first time in GLPS and I was looking forward. 

1. At the first time, everything was very new. Even the fresh air. When I got off the car, I saw a big building which was our dormitory. When I was going in, I never thought I will get used to this place. When I got in the room, I met my roommates and during the whole day we were just sitting on our chair doing nothing.

2. At the fist day, I saw some of the buildings which looked ancient. At the first, I thought it was a place where real MinSago student study but it turned out it was ours too. I was super happy to study in this wonderful place and experience it too.

3. At outside of our dormitory, there are another ancient looking buildings(at the very back and the front also). It turned to be ours too. The building at the very front was a computer lab. And air  made me me study well.he very small looking house which is huge when you go inside, was our another classroom. The fresh air made me study well.

4. This was inside of the ancient looking building. Well this was actually the most modern building after all. I enjoyed the studying and the environment.

 

5. The big road in the picture is a parking area which we have to walk every day many times. The road leads to our dormitory. The road is steeper than you will ever think and many cars pass bye so we always need to go to the steeper side.

6. Also this road was to Dasanguan and Chongmoguan. It was also important because our most classes were happened in there. The road was very steep like the parking area I mentioned and It was very long. I heard that the principal of this school purposely made the constructor build steep for us to be fit. It was nonsense to me.

7. The school was surrounded by mountains and forests. It had a great nature environment and many kinds of creatures living. I liked the fresh air like I mentioned which made me study well.



CONCLUSION

I like the environment of the school and also I really enjoyed GLPS and it's program. The find teachers and friendly students were the best.

MAO'S LAST DANCER

Summery

In a poor village in China, there was a small school winch was a only school in the village. In the school, there was a student name Li Cunxin who was a smart and hard working oldest student in the village. He was talented and well manerd. Also he was well known as the best dancer in the village. The only problem was that because of the strict law in China, he had never had idea of how the other part of world will be like.

One day, Chinese government was finding students to find good dancers to play to the president. They searched each school to school  including the Li's. At the first, nobody was chosen. But by teacher's strong opinion to the government, Li was chosen to attend the audition. He listened to his father's story back in his home about a frog in the well then a toad came saying "Hey! Come out there is a world  out there with better life!" Listening to this Li believed that he will be out of the well and see the world then fell a sleep at the last night to the audition.

Li, was the first person in the history of the village, to go to the Beijing. In Beijing, he was surprised how the city was like. In the audition room he was nervously waiting for his turn, looking at students who all failed. Finally, he showed his talent of being flexible and dancing. He was finally, passed.

Finally, passed Li, was half exited but half very nervous. He never knew how China's law will be like. But he started know being practiced how strict and cruel the law was. The crying, mean teachers and practicing had passed many years. He found out he was talented in ballet then anybody else. Also he pleased the president. His main teacher, Mr.Chan tried very hard to made him succeed. We can know that from him doing a crime for Li to show him how Americans famous dancer dance. Knowing his teacher Mr .Chan's wish, looking Mr.Chan going to jail because of him, he decided to go to America and dance.Luckily, he was well talented enough to be chosen to go to America.

 In America, he was not use to the large city or the freedom law other then his strict country. Then he was getting use to it. Then one day, he met a girl when he immediately fell in love. He also had chances to show America how talented he was. So after many years, he was famous. But not knowing the law, he got married.

 

But the America and Chinese relationship was unfortunately bad. With the kidnapping of Li from Chinese government, he had to decide whether to live in America or China. If he choose any of them, he can't go back to another. Being stressful, at last, ignoring his family and Chinese government, he choose to live in America.

But unfortunately, because of their lifestyle problem, they divorced. Then Li married his dance partner. Then everything was going great. Li was getting famous and more skillful but he missed his family. He danced but thinking this is not my real life without my relatives. Until the president of China died and the law were changing. One day, for his concert, his parents came and visited him. For the surprise of Li, he visited his hometown and danced to his old relative including Mr.Chan. Then happily lived with his wife.

                                                               OPINION

I learned many lessons from this and I am going to give four examples.

First,  the story that his father told about the frog and the toed really influenced me because I lived in many different places and every places were different. I learned a lot about the world. But I was not feeling that when I lived in only one place for many years.

Second,  I think he did a great job choosing his life what he wanted to do and be which lead him to become a successor. I hope I can choose properly when I was in this situation.

His teacher Mr. Chan made him succeed to his life. I have that kind of person who helped my life a lot. It is my parents. They let me travel, eat, study and do whatever I want to help me. They live in another country because of my school. I will I can pay them back by succession. 

Lastly I can learn to aver give up even you are in a very difficult situation like Li.

Hello, my name is Leem Kyeong Mook or 임경묵. I am 14 years old. I am from Korea, Deagon and lived there for eight years.  In there i want to a kindergarten called SKGENIUS and went to a school called HANBAT primary school.



When I was nine, I moved to China, Shanghai because of my dad's job. In there I went to a primary Chinese school called ShangZhong. Then when I was eleven, I moved to a international school called Yew Chung International School, YCIS. I was in YCIS for 2 years then moved to another place called Hogkong

In HongKong, I was in same international school in Shanghai, YCIS. In there I became secondary school. And I am still living there.

My hobby is to play sport like soccer and basketball. Also I like nature. I like to investigate animals and bugs. I like to listen rock and wrap but not singing. I can speak 4 languages, Chinese, Korean, English and Guangdongese(Its like Chinese).
